In addition to his duties as President of Capital City Group, Larry is the Managing Director of Carroll Investments, LLC, a regional real estate development firm; and Chief Financial Officer of JPL Investments, LLC, an investment firm with intellectual property holdings in the gaming and hardware industries.

Larry is the former Executive V.P. & Chief Operating Officer of Overton's, Inc. and President of Herter's, a consolidated $100+ million direct marketing catalog and internet company in the watersports and hunting industries. He is also the former Chief Financial Officer of Cole Kepro International, LLC, an international designer and manufacturer of gaming products; and the Managing Director of the Raleigh, NC office of Resources Global Professionals, an international professional services firm.  Previously, he was with the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche as Senior Manager & Director.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, with a B.B.A. in Accounting from Marshall University.  Larry also holds a real estate broker's license in the State of North Carolina.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, North Carolina Association of CPA's, and a former member of the International Business Brokers Association.

Larry serves on the Board of Directors and/or Management Committees of Capital City Group, Inc., Carroll Investments, LLC, and JPL Investments, LLC. Previously, he served on the Board of Trustees of Wake Health Services, Inc., and Church Council & Stewardship Chairman of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Holding senior-level positions with firms in banking, management consulting and public accounting, Ken has served the financial and advisory needs of hundreds of businesses ranging from early-stage, venture capital backed startups to multinational, SEC registrants.  During a twenty year banking career, Ken was actively involved in underwriting and managing financing transactions for companies in a variety of industries.  During that time, he was Senior Vice President of Wachovia Bank and Senior Vice President of the Technology and Life Sciences Division of Comerica Bank, respectively.  Ken has also served as Treasurer of Scott Madden & Associates, a general management consulting firm and Director of Business Development for McGladrey LLP, a leading U.S. public accounting firm.

A Memphis native and Raleigh resident, Ken has held leadership and board positions with numerous organizations including Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Saint Mary's School, Rex Hospital Foundation, United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development and Triangle United Way.

Ken received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and an M.B.A. from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
